Răzvan Daniel Zota holds a licence degree in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest in 1992, a degree in Finance from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in 1999, a postgraduate degree in Management from SNSPA Bucharest in 1995 and a PhD degree in Economic Informatics from Bucharest University of Economic Studies in 2001.
He is also PhD Adviser in the field of Economic Informatics since 2010.
The research and teaching activities as a full professor in the Department of Economic Informatics and Cybernetics include the following
courses: IT Basics, Operating Systems, Computer Networking, Integrated Systems for E-business, Online Communication, Cisco CCNA and UNIX (he is also Main contact for the Academia de Studii Economice Bucuresti – Cisco Local Academy).
He was involved in several research projects as manager, specialist team member or consultant.
